DFW is highly respected for his literary ability to avoid editing anything down. We at post pop pulp praise his intentions and the volume of his work, no matter how derivative... sorry, we mean how thomas pynchon, it is. but really, the guy thinks a lot, and thinking is more important than writing anyway.
