Sam Front is concerned about the state of affairs of the temporal differences in current y2k, compared to the 1960-70's. His 'man-about-town' reporter persona asks such questions as; 'why are current, cultural films less gritty, as they were 'back than' A student of Frederick Jameson, his writings and interviews reflect his drive to the root of the matter. He lives in the mountains, in a cabin of his opwn construction. His knowledge of solar power has him self-suffecient and 'off the grid'.
